Yule is the longest night of the year, at the dawn of new light comes the end of the dark season and the dawn of new light. The temperatures outside are cooling down but for many, the weather will be just right to get outside for a while. This holiday predated Christmas and can be celebrated the same way your family celebrates Christmas or in a whole new way whatever works for you. Here are some ideas for celebrating Yule.

Make or fill bird feeders or dig in the refrigerator for scraps of food your parents do not mind you placing out for animals. Try to keep the food away from your house towards the back of your yard to avoid attracting unwanted visitors to your home.
