I love the simple things. Sipping coffee while the chickens peck around in the back yard. Watching the kids learn and grow. Eating fresh berries out of the garden. Canning fresh vegetables for the winter. Reading out by the pool on a hot summer day.
I used to spend way too much time stressing over to do lists, trying to balance it all, and never see the grind get any easier. Choosing to live with intention, take a step back from the grind, and simply live was one of the best choices I have ever made.
If you are coming here from Grounded in the Earth you may be a little confused on why there are so many recipes these days. If you are coming from Simple At Home You may find yourself in utter shock to see a side of me that I never showed over their.
Let me take a moment to introduce myself.

I am a busy mom. We homeschool, homestead, and I make a point of regular one on one tie with each child. So more often then not unless I am out with my husband or working out at the gym you will see me with a child or two in tow.
I am an Urban Homesteader. We have double lot in the city where we garden, raise small livestock, and our brood of children I effectively refer to as the wild monkeys. The house is hunted but that’s okay it can be rather entertaining just be sure to hit the off switch on toys before putting them away if you want to sleep at night.
The thing that may have been a shock to some of you is that I have been a practicing witch since childhood. I specialize in energy, herbs, and divination. I am even ordained provinding me with a layer of protection when sharing my craft based content here. I may lose some readers with this new stage of life but trying to hide who I am for the benefit of others is just not the vibe I am going for in life. I would rather live with intention and openness then try to balance multiple sites.

My husband is an Army Vet. We where stationed at Fort Riley Kansas where our son was born. These days he is a big burly biker and we can often be found at bike events here in Michigan.
