Life has settled into a different path for us. One that is just as full of chaos but oh so much more enjoyable. While my to do list grows faster then It can be checked off the mornings are slower, I find myself shipping coffee watching my chickens peck around in the yard, going on adventures with the kids, and feeling a lot less overwhelmed and stressed. Every choice I make is done with intention and magic flows through our everyday lives.
I used to focus so much on just getting through the day and balancing my many responsibilities. Usually watching it topple down around me when wore myself out despite looking for ways to make things simpler, easier, less chaotic. Chosing to live with intention, slow down, and enjoy life a bit changed things for the better.
Are things falling into place? No. The change is that I learned to embrace the chaos, look past the over grown garden walk ways, and have a bit of time to just exist.
Whether you came here from Simple At Home looking for recipes, homesteading, and homeschooling content or from Grounded in the Earth looking to bring a little magic into your life I welcome you with open arms, an open heart, and a big ol glass of sweet tea while we watch the chickens play and listen to the quail sing.
Welcome to The Enchanted Homestead where we choose to live with intention everyday building a life we don’t need a vacation from.
Today I challenge you to look at each day and find ways you can feed intention into your every day life. Here are a few areas I will be showing you how to add intention to your every day life.

Right now it is early morning. My children are sleeping and I am making a list of the priorities that need to get done today while I sip coffee and watch my chickens run around collecting worms after last night’s storms.
The choice to rebrand and build this site has had my mind running wild last last night’s storms. A new chapter in our lives that I can look forward too after years of running Simple at Home. Embracing the chaos that is life and building something just as beautiful as the homestead we are building with our own hands here at home.
