Lavender Hair Spritzer

May 24, 2016

I rock the mom bun. No hiding it. With two toddlers it helps keep my hair on my head where it belongs I loose enough with my PCOS. I have fine hair that frizzes up the moment the humidity goes up I start to resemble a fluffy ball.

Cute on a cat. Not so cute on a grown woman with hair to her butt. I make a hair-nourishing spritzer to use when I ditch the mom bun or make it look like I have tame hair without using a gallon of hair spray.

This simple hair spritzer will nourish your hair and smooth it out while smelling amazing. I sat here with a new Lavender oil that smells amazing and girly. More so then my Lavender Population. The English Lavender in this one from Better Essentials is light and sweet and just awesome for women’s beauty products.

I have red raspberry seed oil to make my sunscreen from scratch. It is also amazing for hair so I decided to use the red raspberry seed oil to give my hair a healthy boost. You can make this super easy lavender hair spritzer at home for yourself.

What you need for lavender hair spritzer:

  • 1/2 tablespoon red raspberry seed oil
  • 15-30 drops Lavender Essential oil.
  • 3 1/5 ounces of water
  • Small travel size spray bottle.
  • Make your own lavender hair spritzer
  • Place both oils into your travel size bottle and shake well.
  • Add water to your bottle.

Shake well with every use.

Separation is normal for this hair spritzer so you will need to shake well and often during use. This does not leave your hair greasy so you can leave it in until your next wash without issue.

I started using this on my toddlers curls before bed each night. It makes her hair look great and relaxes her for bed at the same time. You can’t really beat that. Find more great uses for Lavender Essential Oil.

I was provided free product to share ideas on how to use Better Essentials in your home. All opinions are my own honest thoughts. Only monetary gain is through affiliate links within this post.

I believe essential oils are an amazing resource for the home and natural health. I am not a doctor please seek medical counsel before using essential oils for health and wellness.
